Cd-based QLED Quantum Dots (625 nm)

Cd-based Quantum Dots are high-performance nanomaterials widely used in QLED (Quantum Dot Light Emitting Diode) technology. With an emission peak at 625 nm (red emission), they provide exceptional brightness, vivid color purity, and long-term stability, making them one of the most established materials in next-generation display technologies.

Compared to conventional LCDs, QLED devices enhanced with Cd-based QDs achieve broader color gamut, higher contrast, and superior visual quality. In QLED fabrication, spin coating ensures uniform thin-film coatings, delivering consistent optical performance. To further improve stability and efficiency, the addition of ZnMgO nanoparticle solutions as an electron transport layer (ETL) enhances electron injection, increases brightness, and extends device lifetime. ZnMgO’s high transparency and optimized energy alignment make it a valuable complement to Cd-based QLED structures.
