Description

CoCrMo Alloy Micron Powder for Additive Manufacturing, Size: 15-45 µm, Spherical

CoCrMo Alloy Micron Powder for Additive Manufacturing is a premium-grade biocompatible cobalt-chromium-molybdenum spherical powder specifically engineered for advanced 3D metal printing technologies. With a precisely controlled particle size distribution of 15-45 µm, this high-performance alloy powder delivers exceptional results in Selective Laser Melting (SLM), Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), Electron Beam Melting (EBM), and binder jetting processes.

Our CoCrMo powder (Co-28Cr-6Mo) is designed to meet the stringent requirements of ASTM F75 and ISO 5832-4 medical device standards, making it the preferred choice for orthopedic implants, dental prosthetics, and surgical instruments. The spherical morphology ensures superior flowability, uniform powder bed distribution, and high packing density—achieving ≥99.5% relative density in as-built parts with minimal porosity.

This cobalt-chrome alloy powder exhibits outstanding mechanical properties with a tensile strength of 1110 ± 30 MPa and yield strength of 690 ± 15 MPa, combined with excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility. The molybdenum content enhances resistance to pitting corrosion in physiological environments, while chromium provides a stable passive oxide layer for long-term implant performance.

The CoCrMo spherical powder maintains consistent particle size distribution, low oxygen content, and high sphericity ratio—critical factors for producing patient-specific implants, complex anatomical structures, and high-precision medical devices through metal additive manufacturing.
