Description
Gold Nanostars, Size: 40–45 nm
Gold Nanostars are unique gold nanoparticles characterized by multiple sharp, pointed branches that form a genuine star-shaped structure. This distinct morphology imparts remarkable thermoplasmonic and electromagnetic properties, making them highly valuable for advanced scientific and medical applications.
Due to the ease of surface functionalization with biorecognition molecules, gold nanostars are ideal for use in biosensing studies and related technologies. Their ultrafine size also enables widespread use in the medical field, including immunosensing, bio-labeling, and targeted drug delivery—crucial in disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
These nanostars are surface-modified with HEPES and suspended in ultrapure water, resulting in a stable, blue-colored colloidal solution.
