Description

Iron (Fe) Nanopowder / Nanoparticles (99.55%, 22 nm, Carbon Coated)

Iron (Fe) Nanopowder / Nanoparticles are ultra-fine, high-purity metallic iron particles with an average size of 22 nm and a purity of 99.55% (metal basis). These nanoparticles are carbon coated (~8.7 wt%) to ensure safe shipping and reduce oxidation risks without compromising performance. The coating enhances stability while preserving the excellent electrical and magnetic properties of pure iron.

With a high specific surface area (45–65 m²/g) and a uniform cubic crystal structure, carbon-coated iron nanoparticles exhibit exceptional reactivity, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial, electronic, and biomedical applications.

Applications

  • Magnetic Materials: For magnetic probes, magnetic data storage, and magnetic separation systems.

  • Biomedical Applications: Used as MRI contrast agents and in targeted drug delivery research.

  • Catalysis: Effective for catalytic chemical reactions and synthesis.

  • Electronics: Applied in transistor manufacturing and conductive materials.

  • Industrial Uses: Suitable for vacuum seals, hard metal degradation, and nanocomposite materials production.
