Description
N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone (NMP) Solvent for Lithium Battery Cathode Materials – Purity: 99.90%
Our N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone (NMP) is a high-purity polar aprotic solvent (≥99.90%) widely used in the fabrication of lithium-ion battery cathodes. Due to its strong solvency and high chemical stability, NMP efficiently dissolves polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) binders during electrode slurry preparation, ensuring excellent film uniformity and adhesion on current collectors.
This colorless transparent liquid has a high boiling point and low vapor pressure, making it ideal for processes that require thermal stability and minimal evaporation losses. NMP is compatible with a wide range of substances, including water, alcohols, ethers, esters, ketones, and halogenated hydrocarbons, enhancing its versatility across various battery manufacturing processes.
