Product Description:
NGX7520 is an advanced Ether-Type Shape Memory Polymer (SMP), part of a new generation of smart materials engineered with dual-shape functionality. These polymers can be temporarily deformed and then recover their original form when triggered by external stimuli such as heat, light, moisture, or pH changes. This dynamic response capability enables highly functional applications in areas where adaptability and responsiveness are essential.
With a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 75°C, NGX7520 provides excellent thermal resistance, making it suitable for use in moderately high-temperature environments. The material demonstrates strong mechanical performance in both glassy and rubbery phases, combining rigidity with flexibility and high elongation in deformation-heavy use cases.
