Description
Ti-6Al-4V Titanium Alloy Micron Powder (Grade 5) – Ti6Al4V, Size: 15–45 µm
Ti-6Al-4V Titanium Alloy Micron Powder (Grade 5) is an alpha–beta titanium alloy powder that combines high mechanical strength, low density, and good corrosion resistance. Grade 5 is the most widely used and industry-standard version of Ti-6Al-4V alloys, offering a well-balanced performance for general engineering and structural applications.
With a controlled particle size range of 15–45 microns, this alloy powder provides excellent flowability and uniform packing behavior, making it suitable for powder metallurgy, laser-based additive manufacturing processes (SLM / DMLS), metal injection molding, and advanced sintering technologies. Its high achievable density contributes to improved mechanical strength and dimensional stability in finished components.
Compared to the ELI (Grade 23) version, Ti-6Al-4V Grade 5 is more strength-oriented and is widely preferred in non-biomedical structural and industrial applications.
