NGX6520 is an Ether-Type Shape Memory Polymer (SMP) belonging to the class of smart materials known for their dual-shape capability. These materials can be deformed into a temporary shape and then return to their original, permanent form when exposed to a specific external stimulus—such as heat, light, pH changes, or moisture. This property allows NGX6520 to function as a stimuli-responsive polymer, ideal for environments requiring controlled shape transformation or adaptability.

With a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 65°C, NGX6520 is well-suited for applications that require stable performance under moderately elevated thermal conditions. The polymer combines moderate rigidity in its glassy state with high flexibility and elongation in its rubbery phase, making it ideal for dynamic, load-bearing, or adaptive systems.
