Carbon Nanotubes Dispersions dispersions are highly polished; however, they are
difficult to disperse in the liquid. They are used as adhesives, coatings, and
polymers. They are also used as conductive fillers to dissipate static charge
in various electrical equipment. By adding nanotubes, polymers have increased
resistance against chemicals, corrosiveness, increased temperature and
pressure, and abrasion. CNT dispersion uses two approaches, the mechanical and
chemical approaches. The mechanical approach is based on ultrasonication and
high shear mixing. The chemical approach is based on covalent and non-covalent
methods.
