As lithium-ion batteries are based on
leapfrog technology, therefore stationary storage solutions include the use of
renewable energy sources. This technology is already being used in low power
applications for which Lithium-ion batteries are used. Its main advantages
include its replacement by sulfur, lightweight and inexpensive status. The raw
materials for lithium-ion batteries include cobalt, graphite, lithium, and
manganese etc. With the increase in electric vehicle deployment, LIB cell
production is becoming important.
